oh so femine in her design, having her origins as a birthing chair, literally to help women stay upright during childbirth.  the josephine’s slim and delicate aesthetic soon transformed from function into high design.  for us, rather than offer seating (as her delicate nature isn’t ideal as a chair), our josephine is used as an accent piece in any room – potentially stacked with old hardcovered books or magazines.
